Would you benefit from mentoring support?
The Foundation is looking to support a group of mentees to get more active and access the live changing power of sport, through our new mentoring support programme.
In association with Active Partner Trust Project Notts, we are looking to recruit 10 Nottinghamshire based disabled individuals who would benefit from the support of a passionate mentor with lived experience to help break down barriers to guide them on their road to achieve their personal ambitions via the physical and therapeutic life changing power of movement and sport. Your assigned mentor will utilise their valuable life, work or sporting experience to support you personally as an individual.
To be eligible to access this mentoring programme you will need to meet the following criteria:
Have a physical, sensory, hidden or learning impairment;
Live in Nottinghamshire;
Currently not taking or taking part less than twice a month in regular physical activity or sport;
Motivated to become physically active, but can demonstrate significant challenges that they are facing.
