Foundation Looking for New Trustees

We are looking for new Trustees to help drive the Foundation forward and support more disabled people to achieve their ambitions.

In existence for just under a year, the Foundation ha already been working on some exciting projects, including the Nissan Possibilities, Run with Rich and support of a number of young beneficiaries across the UK.

We are looking to positively recruit and support disabled people to be successful as Board Trustees. Please talk to us about how we can best support you, if you have any individual needs. Previous Board experience isn’t an essential criteria for applicants with impairments, just enthusiasm and drive!

We are looking for new Trustees for the following roles, but we are also open to talking to people who feel they have something special to offer our Board that will enable the Foundation to develop successfully in line with our vision, purpose and mission.

·     Vice Chair

·     Treasurer

·     Secretary / Governance Lead

·     Compliance Lead

We are also looking for the following non-Board roles which are vital supporting roles for the Board.

·     Clerk to the Board

·     Book keeper

·     Designated Safeguarding Lead

If you think that you have the skills, experience or passion to support in the development of the Foundation, then please do consider an application. We would love to hear from you! Please note that the deadline for applications is 3rd August 2022.

You can find out more about these roles by downloading a Trustee recruitment pack or by emailing out Project Manager, Rebecca at: rebecca.gibson@whitehead.foundation

We will be hosting an open session online, where you can meet some of the current Board and find out more, on Wednesday 27 July from 8-9pm. If you would like to attend, please email Rebecca at the address in the paragraph above, to get the meeting link.
