Great South Run

Two runners celebrate finishing Run with Rich with both arms in the air

We are delighted to be able to offer places at this year’s Great South Run on Sunday 15th October 2023, for both charity runners and as part of our supported runners project.

Supported runners

Our supported runner project is a new initiative designed to support disabled people to take part in major running events by offering a dedicated support runner.

Support runners will be on hand to assist a disabled person, however is required throughout an event experience. This holistic support offer will provide disabled person with the help and confidence to complete an event.

The general responsibility of a support runner is to accompany runners with disabilities. Support will be tailored to the individual’s needs and can incorporate pre-event engagement, event day support and post-event.

All places are free of charge and we can offer additional support around logistics for runners.
