Foundation is seeking a Bookkeeper

We need you! We are looking to recruit a volunteer bookkeeper to support the Foundation and our goal of enabling disabled peoples’ ambitions through the life changing power of sport.

The role will involve working collaboratively with our Finance Trustee to complete the following duties:

• To make approved payments and raise invoices;

• To code payments and invoices using accounting software;

• To follow up and chase any unpaid invoices;

• To work with the Finance Trustee to prepare financial information for Board meetings;

• To assist in preparing year end accounts; and

• Any other financial administration as required.

We see this as being a vital supporting role and are looking for someone who can commit between 3-4 hours per week. The role will be flexible depending on the time that the successful candidate can commit to. There is also potential for the role to increase as the Foundation grows.

If you think that you have the skills, experience or passion to support in the future development of the Foundation, then please do consider an application by sending a covering letter and CV to our Finance Trustee: peter.stansbury@whitehead.foundation. We would love to hear from you!

Please note that the deadline for applications is 15 September 2023.
